Alex & Zoe | La Fantaisie

A day featuring scorching sun and torrential downpour within the same hour, the substitution of fancy limo for an old-faithful Metro train, and an iconic cafe being the ultimate destination for Alex and Zoe’s fun-filled fanfare- this wedding was no better a celebration of Melbourne city culture.

Initially planning for an intimate, family only legal ceremony at the famed Fitzroy Gardens, the ever-so giving weather of Melbourne re-directed Alex and Zoe to officially become Mr and Mrs at the steps of the grand Pullman Hotel, accentuating the versatility of our great city and proving once again that love will always prevail- rain, hail or shine!

The celebration found its way to the brunch maestro that is La Fantaisie, with trusty public transport being yet another Melbourne icon to feature on this day. With the legals done and out of the way, Alex and Zoe put on a show for their more public ceremony, electing their quirkiest, most moustached friend to conduct what was an emotional ceremony true to the couple’s selves.
