Dhilshin & Kaveen | Overnewton Castle
One of our longest bookings to date, and one that highlights the benefit of our full day package featuring unlimited hours. This grand celebration saw the team start bright and early, with photographers Josh and Johnny arriving the prep locations at 7am, and concluding our services right at the end of the reception at 12am.
Blessed with a gorgeous spring day, Dhilshin & Kaveen chose to seal their union with two amazing ceremonies, with a Catholic service in the morning, and a traditional Sri Lankan Powura in the evening, with the latter featuring a lavish outfit change that matched the regality of the famed Overnewton Castle.
Not one to settle for just one iconic photoshoot, the newlyweds made sure to stop by the ever faithful Parliament House after the first ceremony, where their bridal party had a bit of fun. Whether it was the bridesmaids effortlessly hoisting up the bride, ducking underneath her dress, or the groomsmen making a questionable throne out of themselves for the groom, it certainly set the mood for the fun-filled day that was to come!
Changing back into her elegant wedding gown, Dhilshin partied long into the night with her now husband, with random conga lines, rap battles, and a break dance routine from the groom himself making for an unforgettable celebration. What a wedding!
